It won’t happen to us, right? Turns out South Africa is becoming a top target for cyber criminals, R2.2Bn was lost last year according to News 24 and Interpol. The problem is, the bigger your business grows, and the more people you interact with, the bigger the “X” for cyber criminals is painted on your backs. (It’s a statistics game, not “if” but a matter of “when”.)
We know cyber security is a bit of a grudge purchase, it’s like medical aid or insurance, no one wants to pay for it, but sooner or later, you’re going to need it. And if you don’t, you’ll wish you did. We’ve also noticed that businesses “skimp” out on security. We often see that home security software is utilised in the enterprise level. This does not provide sufficient security on a business level, and may be more harmful, painting a bigger “X” on your business’s back. Don’t believe me? Check out this article.
So, the question is, what can you afford to lose? It sounds like a blunt cold question. But before the fingers get pointed back at us, we’d like to make sure you’re properly protected, before it’s too late. We don’t want to see you close your doors because of something that could have been prevented. We’d like to make sure you have the proper security measures to grow and thrive.
If we aren’t currently securing your business with us, perhaps now is the time to address and reassess this. This is not a “scary sales tactic”, it’s a sad reality we’re facing. As your partner, we don’t want to lose our relationship with you because we didn’t inform you.
