I sound like a doomsday prophet, but this could have big implications for your business if you’re not prepared. Microsoft has been singing the song “Windows 10 is coming to an end” for a while now. Whether you’re a small team or an army of employees, no one likes to change, but we’ll have to crack on and adapt if we want to stay ahead of the curve.
Sitting around the IT campfire, a lot of guys have tried to come up with “Cookbooks” or rather “Crook books” to try and bypass the whole system to save a quick buck or just for “convenience”. But this is going to bite you when you least expect it. It’s not just the upgrade on Windows that’s the issue, but also the devices hardware that’s being used that is going to be causing the problems.
Windows 10 will reach its end of support on October 14, 2025. This means that after this date, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, bug fixes, or technical support for Windows 10. The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10.
These 3 Thoughts Pop into Mind
- You still have old devices circulating (Your Processor/Chipset is older than Gen 8)
- The Team is hesitant to change to Windows 11 (Education)
- You don’t know what’s about to happen (Information)
Here’s the Major Reasons to get an Upgrade:
- Windows 11 is jam packed with a lot more features (More Convenience and capabilities at your fingertips)
- Threats are evolving; these older devices can’t keep you safe anymore (These devices will be easy targets in future)
- The device you’re still stuck on probably needs to be retired, and the hardware won’t be able to handle the new stuff that’s coming out (It probably feels like driving an old car without power steering)
When you get that pop up, it might be too late, so let’s help you get up to date. You may be eligible for a free upgrade, reach out to us and we will assist! We’ll help you make the most out of Windows 11, so that you’re a pro in no time.
All the best,
Ryan
