great it

At Simpl, we pride ourselves on maintaining our partnership with Microsoft to provide our clients and potential new clients with the best that Microsoft has to offer. However, I’ve picked up that although many local companies may have some version of 365, in most cases there is no alignment in the setup and a there’s mismatch of licences. This has led to a range of issues within a single company: a different combination of email types (POP/IMAP), misconfigured 365 accounts, and poor data management.

To answer the question of, “Is it easy to use?”, our current clients would say: “Yes”. Why? We’ve been fortunate to have had the opportunity to gain some fantastic clients over the years. We took the time to invest in identifying what each business needs and provided a tailored solution. We follow this up by offering training and encourage all our clients to always reach out if there’s something they aren’t sure of.

What makes it Hard to Use?

From an outsider’s perspective, the initial thought and trust in your IT provider is that your 365 is set up correctly, but this is not always the case. We’re tech geeks at heart and love figuring out the problem. We’ve seen strange shortcuts, from businesses using Family License packs, to saving files on a server instead of using the available 365 storage. Even worse is when that data isn’t even backed up. 🙁

Super Simpl Way to Explain What Microsoft 365 is

The most used industry-standard license is a 365 Business Standard License.

What you get:

  • Email with 50GB mailbox storage
  • Microsoft Office Desktop Apps
  • Teams
  • SharePoint – Shared company cloud storage, 1TB plus 10GB per license
  • OneDrive – Personal work cloud storage, 1TB

Conclusion

To our clients, we’re always here if you need to know anything more about 365. To any future clients, we can’t wait to have you join the Simpl Family.

Cheers,
Wesley Campbell
